Mr Meysam Afshar, the Secretary General of the IRCS, will also look into the distribution of humanitarian aid to families impacted by the war.

Ms Raziyeh Alishavandi, the Under Secretary General, is accompanying the Secretary General of the IRCS on the visit.

During this three-day visit, they will also have meetings with Mr Antoine El Zoghbi, the President of the Lebanese Red Cross Society and Mr Hossam Elsharkawi, the Regional Director of IFRC MENA regarding the continuation of aid to the people of Lebanon.
